By train
Finale Ligure and Borgio Verezzi are on the Genoa-Ventimiglia railway line. Finale Ligure Marina station is in the centre, a short walk from the seafront. Borgio Verezzi has its own station a few hundred metres from the village: check the timetable for which trains stop there.
By plane
The nearest airport is Genoa, about 50 kilometres away as the crow flies. From Genova Sestri Ponente Aeroporto station, direct regional trains run to Finale Ligure Marina in about 45 minutes to an hour. If you are flying internationally you can also use Nice airport in France, then continue by car along the A10 or by train, changing at Ventimiglia.
By car
Take the A10 Autostrada dei Fiori between Genoa and Ventimiglia: the exit is Finale Ligure, the most convenient for both Finale and Borgio Verezzi. From Turin take the A6 to Savona and then the A10 towards Ventimiglia; from Milan the A7 or A26 down to the coast and then the A10 heading west. In summer, avoid Saturday peak hours.
Getting around
Buses along the Aurelia link the coastal towns, from Borgio Verezzi to Finale, Varigotti and Noli, and trains connect the places on the line in a few minutes. For the hinterland, the crags and the trails you need a car or an organised shuttle.
